Robin Reynolds is 10 days away from possibly completing her career as the most decorated girls’ track and field athlete in state history.
But Wednesday night was more evidence that Reynolds will have to be at her best to accomplish her goal.
Reynolds improved upon her national-best time in the 400 meters, and won three of the four events she competed in at Ansin Sports Complex to lead Jackson to a runner-up finish at the Region 4-2A championship. But her biggest foe, Plantation American Heritage sophomore Deja Parrish, topped Reynolds in the 200 meters and led her Patriots squad to the team title.
